The project, implemented by the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA), focuses on developing safe, modern, and environmentally sustainable river transport infrastructure along the Chittagong–Dhaka–Ashuganj Inland Water Transport (IWT) Corridor.
