Shanjana Haider

Shanjana Haider is a highly accomplished environmental professional and operational leader with over 15 years of experience in environmental consultancy, engineering, and regulatory compliance. As the Senior Consultant and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Adroit Environment Consultants Ltd., she plays a pivotal role in project management, strategic planning, team leadership, and regulatory coordination, ensuring the delivery of sustainable and impactful solutions.

Her technical expertise encompasses the full spectrum of environmental documentation and compliance, including Initial Environmental Examination (IEE), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), Environmental Management Plan (EMP), Environmental Management Framework (EMF), Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) planning, Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD), Environmental and Social Assessment (ESA), and Detailed Impact Assessment (DIA). She has successfully directed and executed projects under compliance frameworks of leading organizations such as the World Bank (WB), International Finance Corporation (IFC), Asian Development Bank (ADB), Bangladesh Bank (BB), IDCOL, BIFFL, and the Department of Environment (DoE), Bangladesh.

In addition to her environmental expertise, Ms. Haider has extensive experience in social studies, including Resettlement and Rehabilitation Studies (RRS), Resettlement Action Plans (RAP), and Social Impact Assessments (SIA). Her strong background in environmental monitoring, engineering surveys, environmental audits, and risk assessments (including QRA, HAZOP, and HIRA) ensures the highest technical quality across all stages of project execution.

She is also adept in project planning and management, leading the preparation of Expressions of Interest (EOIs), technical proposals, tenders, and RFP documents. Known for her ability to build strong relationships with regulatory bodies and clients, she frequently represents Adroit Environment Consultants Ltd. in Department of Environment (DoE) hearings, stakeholder meetings, and client negotiations.
